Why in Sonic's name did this site disappear?

This is an improved version of my original website from 2002 which once appeared at the top of a Google search.

There wasn't, and still isn't, any other quality website devoted purely to this amazing retro handheld console.

The Game Gear still offers the best authentic retro experience that any handheld console, new or old, can offer.

So do me a favour, plug me into a Sega!

Mortal Kombat II game page added!

After days of research and endless headaches, I have finally finished the definitive accessories section!

Legend of Illusion game page added. Wow!

Added Ninja Gaiden and Mortal Kombat today (took ages). 8 game pages now active!

Operation Starfish added to Games List!

Lemmings, TaleSpin and Slider game pages added today!

Over the last few days have added tonnes of new game pics to games section.
Also added further screenshots to Sonic 2 game page.

Just added Castle of Illusion page!

Now have 35 screenshots for Sonic 2 and Game Page is pretty much sorted so can soon start adding new pages.
Also improved some small details on index page and Sonic 2 page.

Game Gear Games Section is uploaded and online!

Added massive new array of Strategy information to Sonic 2 page. Plus 5 more screenshots.
The idea is to get this page as perfect as possible before adding new game pages.

Almost finished creating the most comprehensive Game Gear Games list that has ever been seen on the web!

Stayed up until 5am this morning creating new main page when should have been in bed because working today.

Merged all Sonic the Hedgehog 2 files from my GG Site V1 to this new site as one webpage.
Also added new Roms section to the page.

Try before you Buy!

MEKA is the first dragon that appears in Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap on the Sega Game Gear and Master System.

It is also an open source (free) Game Gear and Master System emulator that allows you to test a game on your computer before you buy it.

MEKA was created by Omar Cornut "Bock" and is the most compatible emulator, since it has no problems with more unique games like Fantastic Dizzy et al produced by Codemasters in the UK. The visual quality during game emulation is excellent, but the problem with MEKA is the sound which can often be broken. Download the latest version here

An alternative free emulator is Kega Fusion with the most accurate sound emulation and created by Steve Snake, an actual programmer of such games as NBA Jam. Download the latest version here

A rom should only be downloaded if you own a copy of the actual game, will delete it within 24 hours,

or are using it only for testing and/or development purposes (such as for taking screenshots)
